Great Opportunities for Groups
You'll have fun, fun, fun...
... when your civic group, employee group, church group, kid’s Scout troop or
team or any other bunch of friends and colleagues schedule a volunteer activity
at Arc’s Value Village. You’ll be unpacking donations, hanging and tagging
clothes, putting price stickers on books, dishes and other hard goods, testing
small appliances to make sure they work, and more. There are countless things
to do for people of all ages and abilities! Come boogie in the backroom!

A Celebration of Sorts 2008
Over 30 groups volunteered at the Sept. 16, 2008 fifth annual A Celebration of
Sorts at Southdale Center. This annual event, co-sponsored by Greater Twin
Cities United Way Caring Connection, drew approximately 600 volunteers who
worked throughout the day from 9 am to 8 pm. The volunteers unpacked, tagged,
priced and sorted 75,000 Halloween items in preparation for the opening of
Arc’s Halloween BOO-tique Sept. 25 at all three Arc’s Value Village thrift
stores & donation centers. Other volunteer groups from Blue Cross Blue
Shield, Target and more were scheduled at the stores, helping set up the actual
Boo-tique displays.
