Arc's Value Village Volunteer Banquet 2007
Arc's Value Village Thrift Stores and Donation Centers celebrate volunteers at
their annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet held during National Volunteer Month
(April). Over 200 attendees enjoyed an Italian luncheon and guest speakers at
the Earle Brown Center. Guest speakers, Jane Harris and Julie Anderson shared
their stories as mother's who each have a daughter with developmental
disabilities and are actively involved with Arc. A Volunteer of the Year for
each store was recognized as well as volunteers celebrating milestones - 5, 10,
15, 20 and 25 years. Arc's Value Village Thrift Stores and Donation Centers
have 23 volunteers who each contributed over 300 hours during 2006- and are
members of our 300 Club. In total, more than 70,000 hours of volunteer service
were contributed in 2006. Congratulations one and all!
