January 1, 2008	New Year's Day New Years Day - all stores closed.
January 19 - 21	For three days, all merchandise is 50% off. There are lots of bargains to be had in all departments.
February	A little something for your sweetheart? Check us out for some fun Valentine offerings early in the month while selection is good. Starting February 19, we’ll start putting out spring clothing so you’re ready for warm climate travel or an early spring.
February 16	Mark your calendar for the Saturday, February 16th Winter Clearance Sale. Now is the time to fill in your wardrobe for the rest of the season and get great bargains for 50% off our already low prices.
February 29 - March 20	Leap into spring at our Spring Fling! A breath of fresh air arrives on Leap Day with bunnies, baskets, spring clothing for everyone in the family and more!. In addition, this is the time to find any St. Patrick’s Day merchandise.
March	Spring clothing is out full force. Lots of Easter items are available. You can afford to be frivolous at this time of year as our prices make it easy to be festive and frugal at the same time.
March 21 - 22	Spring Fling Clearance. All remaining blue-tagged items are 50% off for these 2 days only.
March 23	Easter - all stores are closed.
April	It’s National Volunteer Month! Time to join in on an activity that suits your interests and helps others? Arc’s Value Village is an easy place to make that happen. Call our volunteer manager and inquire about the volunteer position that will best suit your skills.
April	The Early Bird gets the bargains! Right after Easter, the featured merchandise will be shorts and summer accessories. Stop by often for the best selection.
May	Mom’s Day is May 11. Check out Arc’s Value Village stores for items Mom will love: jewelry, spa products, cook books, collectibles, clothing and more! You will find wonderful and unique items.
May 3 - 4	The Living Green Expo is at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, with lots of exhibits and workshops guaranteed to inspire ways to live a greener life and assist in reducing global warming. For more information: www.livinggreen.org
May 15	May 15 "Pack Your Bags"! Thursday, from 6:45 – 8 :45 p.m. Meet Lori and Julia from FM 107.1 at Arc’s Value Village Richfield. Donate handbags you are no longer using to Value Village. July 29	We’ll start putting out fall clothing during this week and you’ll see more and more of it as we get into August.
August	Get Ready for Fall! It’s another new beginning for students and adults alike. Be sure to stop by Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores for fall clothing and items to decorate your dorm room or home. We’ve got great selections in every department.
September	September is a busy month at Arc’s Value Village. It’s our last clearance event of the year AND it includes fall clothing which makes it a timely bargain hunt. Following the sale, you’ll be seeing great fall and winter coats along with lots of accessories. And of course, September is Halloween Boo-tique season.
September 1	Labor Day Clearance. You’re in luck. Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores are having a fantastic clearance sale and we’re one of the few who include fall clothing! It’s time to start thinking of cool weather clothing and we’re loaded with it for this sale.
September 5	Coat Kick-off. Fleece, leather, ski, fur, wool, mufflers, boots, and mitts. You’ve come to the right spot for a great selection of cold weather gear to get you through the season IN STYLE!
September 24	Halloween Costume Boo-tique. Over 150,000 costume items and decorations allow you to have fun and get it done at Arc’s Value Village. Now through October.
October	October is the month for Halloween. And it’s Choose to Reuse Month! Shopping at Arc’s Value Village is great for the environment because you reduce the need for new materials used in the manufacture of goods and packaging.
November	It’s Thriftmas time in the city! Our biggest, largest, longest event of the year - and it makes for a wonderful holiday season.
November 5	Merry Thriftmas Shops open. You’ll find everything imaginable to deck your halls, living rooms, kitchens, dining tables, doors, mantels and more. Candles and Candleholders, Cards and Wrap, Collectibles, Cookie Cutters, Cookie Tins, Crafts, Decorations, Gifts, Glassware, Holiday Houses, Ornaments, Lighting, Linens, Santas, Snow globes, Snowmen, Wreaths and more. November 27	Happy Thanksgiving. All stores are closed. We’re grateful for your support – many thanks.
November 28-30	A Thrifty Gifty Weekend. Don’t forget thrift shops as you race to the malls! We’ve set aside many, mostly new gift items for all ages and they’re ready for you to make your selections. Thanksgiving weekend at Arc’s Value Village is a great time for shopping with a purpose. Value Village proceeds benefit people with disabilities and their families through the important programs and services that Arc Greater Twin Cities provides across the lifespan.
December	It’s a busy month for you and for us at Arc’s Value Village. We still have a great selection of holiday items. Now is also a great time to prepare for the New Year by letting go of some things while making room for new. Arc’s Value Village accepts vehicles too! December 24 - 25	Christmas Eve and Christmas Day – all stores are closed.
December 26 - 31	Start off the New Year with peace of mind by clearing clutter out of every room in your home. It’s Donation Week at Arc’s Value Village and it’s a mad dash to donate before the end of the 2007 tax season. Arc’s Value Village donation drive-ups accept a huge variety of items. Check out our list – from A to Z. Tax receipts are issued with every donation drop off.
December 31	New Year’s Eve We’re open for shopping, donating and volunteering till 6:00 p.m.
