		NEW donation tools! We have a couple of tools for you to help make donating easier. Ever wonder what Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores accept? Our A to Z Donation Guide gives you a complete list of items that we take. If you itemize your taxes, our Donation Worksheet will come in handy. Record all of your donations on the worksheet, drop off your donations at one of our stores and attach your worksheet to the receipt. Come tax time you’re very well prepared and will make quick work of it. For information about the value of your items, visit the IRS web site.

		There are several volunteer opportunities coming up over Memorial weekend. Help stock before the sale (Saturday and/or Sunday May 23-24), keep fitting rooms clean (May 25th), bag items on the day of the sale (May 25th), or stock on the day after the sale (May 26th). You don’t need a huge time commitment - two hours will do. More time works too depending on your schedule and interest. It’s a great way to make a contribution to community and more specifically to help us provide more support to people with disabilities in the metro area. Social Media and Arc’s Value Village Arc’s Value Village is exploring options for Facebook, Twitter and other social media and would like some feedback on what customers and donors would like to see. Once we get the responses we will coordinate a meeting date (90 minutes) tentatively planned for the first week of June.

Arc Services		Focus Group Opportunity If you are a parent of a child 14 or older who is on the Autism Spectrum, you are invited to participate in a focus group sponsored by Hennepin County. The focus group will explore ways to provide more comprehensive community living supports for adults living with autism and their families.
